Renderer settings

The Renderer Appearance editor has a group of settings to fine-tune the visual appearance of the game. The settings can (and should) be adjusted while a game is running so you will see immediately how they affect the visuals.

Opening the Renderer Appearance sidebar

⚙️ > Renderer > Appearance

The console command:

rendedit

Appearance profiles

A renderer appearance profile is a set of values for all the renderer settings. You can create new profiles yourself, and these are saved in the runtime folder, in configs/renderer.dei.

There is a profile called “Custom” that is by default used for your customized settings.

Note that if you for example are using the “Default” appearance, any changes you manually make to the cvar values via the console will be overwritten when the profile is loaded again. If you manually edit cvars, keep your current appearance set to “Custom”.
