Controlling the console window

Escape (Esc)

Close the console window.

Tilde (~)

Open/Close the console window.

Tilde (~) (+Shift)

Switch between half and full screen mode.

Page Up (Pgup)

Move through the console history up two lines.

Page Down (Pgdown)

Move through the console history down two lines.

Home

Move to the start of the console history.

End

Move to the end of the console history.

Insert (Ins) (+Shift)

Scroll the console window up: one line or three lines if Shift is held.

Delete (Del) (+Shift)

Scroll the console window down: one line or three lines if Shift is held.

Return (Enter)

Execute the contents on the command line.

Tab

Attempt autocompletion of the last word on the input line. Dependant on console completion mode.

F5

Clear the console history window.

Entering text

Backspace

Delete the character behind the cursor from the input line.

Up Arrow

Move backwards through the input command history. Command is added to the input line.

Down Arrow

Move forwards through the input command history. Command is added to the input line.

Left Arrow

Move the cursor one character to the left on the input line.

Left Arrow + Shift

(NEW in 1.9.0-beta3) Move the cursor to the start of the input line.

Right Arrow

Move the cursor one character to the right on the input line.

Right Arrow + Shift

(NEW in 1.9.0-beta3) Move the cursor to the end of the input line.

Alt + C

(NEW in 1.9.0-beta3) Clear the contents of the input line.
